Our company history

On December 1, 1994 Jutta and Michael Kuhne established the company Kuhne electronic e.K., which later on merged to Kuhne electronic GmbH.

„At the beginning we developed and produced high quality components for the amateur radio with a small staff, as Jutta Kuhne remembers. „But already after a few years we have produced more than 85 percent for the industrial application.“ This pleasant development resulted in a constant increase of staff and moving to the headquarters established in the year 2001 in Berg in the Upper Franconian county of Hof.

Today we can still be found there. In the year 2007 a second building was added as extension. For this reason we were able to increase our production capacities and our production area to more than 1.100 square meters. Here our team is working today in the fields of development, production, logistics, administration and sales.

Everything under one roof!

The development as well as engineering and also our production of the components takes place under one roof at the facility in Berg / Bavaria. Through our flat hierarchies and short paths between the departments we are very flexible, can react to the requirements and changes on the market and produce very targeted to the specifications of our customers.

Our laboratory is updated and equipped with high quality, innovative measurement technology up to the high GHz range.

Our versatile and technically matured product spectrum ranges from high linear power amplifiers for the digital TV (DVB-T) up to the super low-noise preamplifiers for the research in the field of radio astronomy as well as bi-directional amplifiers and signal generators for RF Heating.

Our competence is in the field of development, engineering and production of components in the frequency range of up to 50 GHz.
